Overview
As Shop Supervisor you will be using your skills and retail experience to help drive business, push sales, and achieve targets. Help to lead a team to deliver great customer service to our donors and customers. Work with the local community to generate sufficient donated stock to drive sales. Help to recruit, train & retain a volunteer team, who'll look to you and the shop manager for leadership and guidance. Set high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, ensuring you and your teams health and safety is a priority. Help to manage effective stock processes to ensure your shop is well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock at all times. Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in store campaigns to promote the brand and national fundraising initiatives. Help to manage an effective stock process through the Epos operation.
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of volunteers and staff to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.
* Manage community engagement to generate donated stock for the shop.
* Maintain high merchandising and housekeeping standards with a focus on health and safety.
* Oversee stock processes and ensure the shop is well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock.
* Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder and support in-store campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
* Operate the Epos stock process effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
* Retail experience with commercial awareness to deliver sales.
* Positive attitude, good judgment, and proven leadership skills, including ability to lead a large team of volunteers.
* Excellent people skills, a positive can-do attitude, and understanding of financial and IT administration.

Conditions & Benefits
* Location: Lymington
* Hours: 22.5 hours per week over 7 days (3 x 7.5 hour shifts: Sun/Mon/Tues)
* Salary: £12.36 per hour + rewards & benefits
