Responsibilities
Lead officer for an exciting mix of applications, appeals and pre‑application enquiries. Work at the heart of a holistic, co‑located team of expert consultees, all dedicated to delivering excellent planning outcomes.
* A diverse and challenging caseload—from householder to minor residential developments and general development management applications.
* A strong scheme of delegation that empowers officers and supports responsive decision‑making.
* Close collaboration with elected members, engaging with the community and delivery of real change.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in managing a range of planning applications, related appeals and pre‑application enquiries.
* Detailed knowledge and sound working knowledge of Development Management, including local and national policies and legislation.
* Excellent and proven time management skills.
* A passion for place‑making and sustainable development and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with stakeholders.
Assessments & Interviews
Assessments and interviews will take place on Tuesday 30th June 2026.
