An exciting Senior Quality Engineer role has become available. Working closely with the Factory Manager in a fast paced manufacturing environment the Senior Quality Engineer will be key to driving continuous improvements, resolving issues and reducing cost of poor quality.
Quality Engineer
Location - Bentham
Salary - £38,000 -£45,000 (Depending on Experience), 25 days plus Bank Holidays, Company pension, life insurance.
Hours – 37.5 hours per week 8am – 4.30pm (Mon-Thursday) 8am – 1.30pm(Friday)
Your Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To
* Prepare KPIs for submission to Factory Manager.
* Facilitate customer complaint investigations.
* Work with supply chain on all processes.
* Undertake First Article Inspection Reports.
* Support new product development.
* Conduct calibration of all measurement equipment.
* Assist in reviewing and updating procedures to support QMS.
* Facilitate audits from external bodies and 3rd party inspectors.
* Conduct internal process audits.
* Produce internal reports and relay to Factory Manager.
To Apply You MUST Have Or Hold
* Quality / Engineering knowledge.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Internal audit experience.
* Knowledge of problem solving withing engineering, continuous improvement processes (Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA).
* Knowledge of the manufacturing process and the ability to establish solutions.
* Excellent communication both verbally and written.
* An understanding of ISO9001 AND QMS.
* Close attention to detail.
* The ability to understanding technical documents.
