NEC Revenues Application Support Officer
Rate: £ per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 3 months
Location: Mainly remote – with 1/2 days a month in Bristol
We’re looking for an experienced Application Support Officer with strong NEC Revenues application experience to join a busy IT Operations team supporting critical services across the organisation. This role will see you providing expert support to the NEC Revenues system and its modules, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and assisting with new implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 2nd line support for the NEC Revenues application, ensuring stability, reliability, and compliance
2. Support the implementation and configuration of new NEC modules including CA-SPA, Email Connect, and Integration Hub
3. Manage and monitor batch processing routines, including those related to revenues recovery workflows
4. Administer access controls, user provisioning, and permission audits
5. Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with third-party vendors as needed
6. Handle system updates, configuration changes, and patching
7. Respond to change requests and contribute to testing and deployment processes
8. Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and end users
Key Skills & Experience:
9. Strong experience supporting NEC Revenues (Northgate) systems within a local government or public sector setting
10. Confident in handling batch processing, revenue reconciliation tasks, and system integration
11. Familiarity with NEC modules such as CA-SPA, Email Connect, and Integration Hub
12. Proven problem-solving, incident management, and documentation skills
13. Comfortable working in a user-focused support environment
