Hybrid working 2 - 3 days/week on site. Salary up to £28,000 depending on experience. Renishaw plc is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our established and evolving, fast-paced UK finance team, reporting to the UK Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll support our UK Finance team with a range of tasks including:
1. Updating cash books and drafting bank reconciliations, including working in multiple currencies.
2. Processing expense claims and working with colleagues to resolve queries.
3. Preparing recharges and invoices for group companies.
4. Maintaining credit cards, petty cash, and cash advances.
5. Supporting senior team members with analysing expenses for tax returns.
6. Providing documentation to internal and external auditors, and responding to their queries.
7. Supporting other team members with ad-hoc duties as needed throughout the year.
About you
We're looking for someone interested in accounting and finance, from those starting their careers to those with experience in similar roles. You should have good attention to detail, be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines, have good Excel skills, and a minimum of four GCSE passes (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
