We are inviting applications for the Team Leader role in Chemistry Higher: Question Paper.
The Team Leader will support the Principal Assessor whilst leading a team of Markers. The primary role is to manage Markers to ensure that national standards are being consistently applied and maintained. The successful applicant will have a sound track record in marking (minimum 2 years) the Chemistry Higher Question Paper.
The Team Leader will require up to 6 days release May/June 2026. Own time will also be required (up to 2 days is anticipated) plus the support to a team of markers during the live marking period. Dates will be confirmed when procedural programme is finalised.
Release and own time fees will be paid. A responsibility fee will be calculated on the number of markers assigned to you at the start of live marking period. Marking fees for scripts marked also apply.
