Job Description
A senior role within our Wing Analysis Engineering Team at Airbus, responsible for leading Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) analysis and authorising deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Perform, approve, or authorise F&DT analysis and deliverables, ensuring compliance with safety and certification standards.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional leadership to define project requirements, manage technical scopes, and steer engineers and suppliers.
- Influence and innovate the future of aerospace by integrating automated workflows and optimisation tools into the development lifecycle, leading or supporting initiatives.
- Drive the professional growth of the team and shape the next generation of engineers through mentorship and technical guidance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering with a focus on structural analysis.
- Knowledge and experience of structural F&DT analysis.
- Familiarity with Airbus F&DT analysis processes, methods and toolsets (ISAMI, GISEH, Hyperworks/Nastran, etc).
- Experience as a delegated technical signatory and industry‑recognised F&DT approval (Check) or capacity to obtain it quickly.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to influence decisions within a complex, strategic network.
- Interest in developing digital solutions; proficiency in Python is advantageous.
