About the Role:
Staffline are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing operation in Portadown. The role involves working in a Warehouse / Stores environment to support the movement, loading, and organisation of products across the site.
This position is ideal for a reliable and safety-minded forklift operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move, load, and unload products safely.
7. Maintain an organised and tidy work environment in the store, yard, and factory.
8. Carry out daily equipment checks and report any forklift defects promptly.
9. Complete temperature checks and record machine input/output levels.
10. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling where required.
11. Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and in line with company procedures.
Requirements:
12. Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
13. Proven forklift driving experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
14. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
15. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
16. Flexible approach to working hours
17. Comfortable working in a cold-store environment (PPE provided)
