Job Responsibilities:
* Management of the testing methods and equipment for incoming chemicals and SFP
* Management of new/modified formulations, processes and chemicals as part of the product innovation process
* Maintenance of plantside Labs and provision of training to Operators.
* Provide analytical support to the operational teams
* Management of inspection schedules to ensure material compliance with specification
* Ensure that legislative requirements are met (7th Amendment and Weights and Measures)
* Ownership, update and review of site QMS documents
* Key member of product safety team – responsible for compliance with relevant Unilever UQPs/GMPs
* Monitors and measures Quality Performance through record keeping
* Direct Line Management Responsibility. E.g absence management, Development of team via 3+1, recruitment etc.
* Support for other Improvement activities within packing and process.
* Investigation of complaints from consumers
* Investigation of and escalation of supplier quality issues
* Management of incidents as part of the wider quality team – including testing and usage decisions
* Key user for SAP QM inspection module and schedules
* Be involved / lead audit and investigation processes (both internal and external)
* Key contact for processing (EU R&D)
* Management of methods to produce Quality Certificates required for product export.
* PFD approval – acceptance of new pfds used in the factory.
* Authorization and release of orders up to 5000 Euros
