Blackpool Council is looking for a highly motivated Civil Enforcement Officer to join our Parking Services Team. In this role, you will be required to monitor and enforce both on street and off street parking regulations and ensure vehicles are able to move freely around Blackpool in accordance with the Local Traffic Management Regulations.
The successful candidate will be required to communicate and work with members of the public, as well as colleagues within the Council and external agencies at all levels.
Civil Enforcement Officers need to have good negotiating and people skills in order to be able to assist members of the public and sometimes diffuse difficult situations.
Willingness to work a 7 day Rota from early morning to late evening in all weathers and with minimum supervision is required, as is a full manual U.K. drivers licence.
In addition to the advertised wage, weekend and Bank Holidays worked, are paid at an enhanced rate.

The successful applicant will be required to work outside of a 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday work pattern and will receive an additional payment on top of the quoted salary as a result.
