Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Blackwood, Gwent

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Blackwood, Gwent for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time. The full time hours are 40 hours per week over 4 days. The part time hours are 27.5 hours per week over 3 days. There will also be 1 in 4 Saturdays but no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role
12. The role will involve duties including consultations, surgeries and emergency consultations.
13. The Vet will work alongside two other Vets and a RVN nursing team. The practice is part of a 4 branch site.

15. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
16. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

About you:
26. The practice are open to various levels of experience including a new graduate Vet.
27. A full UK driving license would be desirable so that they Vet is able to provide cover when needed at other branches for sickness and annual leave.

29. The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.

31. Salary: Up to £63, pro rata, commensurate to experience
