We now have a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring and creative Teacher - Science and Math to join our close-knit team at Walnut Tree School.

Walnut Tree School is an independent co-educational day school for up to 15 students aged 7-19 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. The school provides full-time education, covering both academic and vocational subjects in line with national benchmarks. We deliver differentiated teaching and learning activities within small groups in a purpose-built environment.
Requirements:
* Teaching qualification and experience.
* A thorough understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet diverse learner needs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
The role will include:
* Teaching small groups of pupils within the classroom.
* Preparing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to pupils' needs.
* Supporting other staff members to deliver high-quality education consistently.
* Developing and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learner needs.
* Working closely with SEND teaching assistants to define appropriate activities related to the curriculum.
