Responsibilities
* Co‑ordinate the treatment pathways for patients requiring Haematopoietic stem cell transplants & CAR‑T within the Cellular Therapy Program at the Christie Hospital, ensuring effective and specialised care.
* Coordinate the pre‑admission treatment pathway for patients/donors requiring stem cell transplantation & CART/ATMP treatments.
* Work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and plan treatment pathways for patients requiring these treatments within the trust and externally.
* Manage a designated patient workload ensuring all pre‑admission and pre‑collection requirements have been correctly undertaken, documented and reviewed by the clinical team with support from the lead coordinator.
* Liaise with the medical team in the development, implementation and evaluation of individual programmes of care and protocols, reviewing and assisting with standard operating procedures and actively involved with the regulatory accreditation such as JACIE and HTA.
* Work autonomously, exercising a high level of clinical expertise, exceptional role model, excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy.
