Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Traffic Marshall to oversee and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in designated areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen sense of responsibility to ensure safety and efficiency in traffic management. This role is essential for maintaining order on construction projects.
Responsibilities
* Direct and control the movement of vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
* Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and team members to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
* Monitor traffic patterns and adjust management strategies as necessary to prevent congestion.
* Conduct regular inspections of the area to identify any maintenance needs or hazards that may affect safety.
* Maintain a visible presence at all times to deter unsafe behaviour and provide assistance as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Traffic Marshalling roles within construction sites(minimum 3 years)
* Strong maintenance skills to identify and report issues promptly.
* A valid CPCS A73 Blue card.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in dynamic situations.
