Job Description
3. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
6. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
7. Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
8. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
9. Collaborate with the finance team and wider business to streamline processes.
10. Ensure timely reporting to key stakeholders in the retail sector.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
12. Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
13. Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
14. Proficiency in Sage 200 and MS Excel.
15. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Attention to detail and organisational abilities.
17. Experience within the retail industry is advantageous.
