We are now seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support our growing operations.
Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in managing project costs and ensuring profitability. Working closely with our management team, you will oversee financial planning, procurement, and cost control to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tenders.
• Conducting site visits and monitoring project progress to manage costs effectively.
• Overseeing procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
• Analysing and negotiating contracts to ensure value for money.
• Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Providing regular cost reports to management, highlighting any potential risks or savings.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company policies and industry standards.
What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, project management tools).
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS accreditation or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
