Role Overview As an Aquatic Warehouse Operative with 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of aquatic products, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Key Responsibilities Goods Inwards: Unload delivery vehicles and perform quality checks on incoming stock. Stock Management: Organise and store products in designated locations, ensuring proper labelling and inventory control. Order Fulfilment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, preparing them for dispatch. Loading & Dispatch: Load outgoing deliveries onto vehicles, ensuring secure and safe transportation. Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock checks and assist in stock replenishment as needed. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including manual handling procedures and equipment operation. Equipment Operation: Operate mechanical handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts and pallet trucks safely. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock movements and order processing. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily targets and ensure smooth warehouse operations. Skills & Experience Warehouse Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a warehouse environment, preferably within the aquatic or pet care industry.. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 25kg. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications. Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Working Hours Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
