Role: KS1 Class Teacher
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
⏰ Contract: Full-time | Long-term | Temp-to-perm
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child can thrive
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed
Work collaboratively with TAs, SENCOs, and leadership teams
Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
✅ Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching KS1 in a UK primary setting
Strong knowledge of phonics schemes (e.g. Read Write Inc., Letters and Sounds)
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
