Metalis is working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Newcastle Under Lyme, who due to continuous growth are looking for a Welder / Fabricator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Job duties:
* Execute MIG welding on diverse metal components and structures
* Fabrication duties
* Working from engineering drawings, and specifications to ascertain welding requirements accurately
* As a MIG Welder you will be required to configure welding equipment and ensure optimal settings for each project
* Utilise power tools required for MIG Welding and Fabrication including hand tools for cutting, shaping, and grinding metal pieces
* Assemble and fabricate metal parts in accordance with provided specifications
* Conduct thorough inspections of welds to uphold quality standards; perform necessary adjustments or repairs as required
* Adhere strictly to safety protocols and uphold cleanliness and organisation within the work area
Shifts:
* Welder/Fabricator
* 13.50 - 14.50 per hour
* 12 Week Temporary - Permanent
