We’re recruiting for multiple CNC roles within a modern aerospace machining environment. If you’re a hands-on setter or an experienced programmer, there’s a position to match your background.
1) CNC Miller Setter / Operator (3, 4 & 5 Axis)
You’ll be setting and running CNC milling machines producing tight-tolerance aerospace components.
Key responsibilities:
*
Set and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines
*
Tool setting, offsets, proving out, and running production batches
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
*
In-process inspection using micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.
*
Maintain quality records and work to aerospace standards
Machines / controls (nice to have):
*
Mazak Variaxis
*
Matsuura (Fanuc)
*
DMG / Bridgeport (Siemens)
2) CNC Turner Setter / Operator (Multi-Axis Turning)
Ideal for someone confident setting CNC lathes in a quality-led environment.
Key responsibilities:
*
Set and operate multi-axis CNC turning machines (mill/turn style environments)
*
Tool setting, offsets, proving out and running production
*
Work to tight tolerances with strong inspection discipline

Star sliding head experience

3-axis turning backgrounds welcomed
3) CNC Programmer (Milling / Turning) – Fusion 360 / PowerMill
For programmers who want to own process improvements and support new part introduction.
Key responsibilities:
*
Create, edit and optimise CNC programs for production and new parts
*
Tooling selection, prove-outs, and cycle-time reduction
*
Work closely with machinists to troubleshoot and refine processes
*
Support 3/4/5-axis machining and/or multi-axis turning (depending on your strengths)
Pay, shifts & overtime
*
CNC Setters: up to £18 per hour (DOE)
*
CNC Programmer: up to £45,000 (DOE)
*
39 hours per week
*
Days: 07:30 – 16:30 (Friday finish 12:30)
*
Overtime at 1.5x
*
Days and nights available
