We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Asset Controller to join our team. In this new pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all Company assets, focusing on asset management and administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Duties
- Responsible for processing all purchases and orders ensuring accurate PO reporting.
-Responsible for Purchase Order Database and liaising with Accounts team for invoicing.
-Process all deliveries ensuring serial numbers are logged on the job management system.
* Responsible for signing stock / equipment out and logging location on the job management system.
-Ensure the Job Management System has accurate records of stock location
-Stock Management – when stock / equipment is returned it is signed back into office.
* Liaise with Department Heads to forecast supply and demand and to avoid overstocking and running out of stock
* Track shipments and address any delays
* Conduct periodic stock checks
* Oversee storage of stock / products ensuring that they are safe and secure
* Responsible for Company fleet administration;
o Communicating with Insurance Brokers and ensuring all vehicles and drivers are insured
o Driver licence checks
o Managing vehicle maintenance and serving schedules
o Monitoring driver behaviour
o Assist Compliance Manager with Vehicle Checks
o Ordering and managing Company Fuel cards
o Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all vehicles
o Assisting Finance department with adding vehicles to Transport portals such as TfL, Ringo, congestion charge
-Responsible for Company Mobile Phones
o Ordering new phones where required
o Monitoring call costs / usage
-Responsible for ordering Company Uniform and PPE and ensuring all uniform is logged and signed for.
* General administration support to operations department
· Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be requested by your Manager to ensure the overall smooth running of the business
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
* Proven experience in an administrative role
* Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
* Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
* Effective phone etiquette and communication abilities
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
