Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Primary & Secondary) – Worcester Area Location: Worcester and surrounding areas Hours: Flexible (during school hours) Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role We are seeking a committed and adaptable 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across the Worcester area, either within school settings or in their homes during school hours. This role involves working with students who may require additional support to re-engage with learning and achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver personalised 1:1 tuition sessions tailored to individual needs Support pupils in core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science Adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and abilities Build positive relationships to boost confidence and engagement Monitor and report on pupil progress Follow all safeguarding and compliance procedures Requirements Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or similar) Good understanding of the UK curriculum (Primary and/or Secondary) Strong communication and organisational skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Desirable Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing a PGCE Experience supporting SEN or pupils with additional needs Subject specialism in English, Maths, or Science Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle What We Offer Flexible working hours to suit your availability Competitive rates of pay Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Opportunities for professional development If you’re passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
