As a Lead Service Designer in IBCA, you will:
1. Understand dependencies within the current system and how the programme aligns, identifying incentives and disincentives across the service.
2. Take a strategic view of the service to support prioritisation and decision-making, and contribute to a service roadmap.
3. Develop an understanding of the current landscape and future changes to anticipate impacts of new policies or legislation on the service and its users.
4. Utilise insights from user research and data to create visual products and prototypes, identifying pain points from a user perspective.
5. Build collaborative relationships across directorates to develop a comprehensive service view.
6. Work with UCD Leads to produce visual representations of the service, such as user journeys and service maps, ensuring they are user-friendly.
7. Implement a user-centred approach, embedding knowledge of user-centred design within a complex policy environment.
8. Demonstrate inclusive leadership by managing and supporting team members' development.
9. Foster a positive, inclusive team environment that promotes wellbeing, collaboration, and aligns with departmental values.
