1:1 Tutor Required – Wellingborough Area We are seeking a dedicated and flexible 1:1 Tutor to support pupils in the Wellingborough area during school hours. This role involves delivering personalised educational support either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting, helping young people to engage with learning and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 tuition to pupils with varying needs and abilities Deliver engaging lessons aligned with individual learning plans and the UK curriculum Support pupils’ academic progress as well as confidence and wellbeing Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals Maintain accurate records of sessions and progress Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience within the UK curriculum Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Relevant qualifications (teaching, education, or subject-specific) are desirable Enhanced Child Workforce DBS is required Must be registered on the DBS Update Service, or willing to apply for one Details: Location: Wellingborough and surrounding areas Hours: During school hours (flexible scheduling) Setting: Pupils’ homes or school environments Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s education through personalised support.
