We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering business in Ferndown. This is a permanent, full-time role for a Quality Inspector who takes pride in accuracy, attention to detail, and ensuring high-spec components meet exacting standards.
As the Quality Inspector, you will work with complex components across aerospace, medical, defence, and other high-spec industries. The Quality Inspector will support inspection and quality control, using CMMs and hand tools, completing FAIRs, and helping to improve processes and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Program and operate CMMs to inspect components
Use hand tools to take accurate measurements
Work from technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications
Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and other quality documentation
Support continuous improvement of inspection methods and workflows
Flexible working hours, with a choice of a 4 or 5-day weekEssential Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector
Proficiency in CMM programming and operation
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerance measurement
High attention to detail and methodical working approach
