The role: As part of its commitment to delivering its responsibilities for East Central hub RCP has an immediate requirement for a Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of multiple projects, for our Local Authority and Health Board Partners. The Scotland-wide hub initiative was set up in 2010, to establish five public-private partnership development companies to work with Local Authorities, NHS Boards and Emergency Services. The aim of hub is to provide a quicker, more efficient route to procurement leading to improved value for money, improve joint working between public and private sector leading to better outcomes and create real community benefits for local people and businesses. hub East Central Scotland delivers new community infrastructure across Falkirk, Stirling, Perth & Kinross, Fife, Dundee, Tayside and Angus. Much of the success of East Central hub has been its ability to work strategically with Clients to assist in the development of projects from pre-feasibility stage, including options appraisals, feasibility studies and wider estates strategies. This strategic work is an essential tool in ensuring continuity of work for the East Central hub pipeline. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects through, the design, construction and handover phases working alongside Clients, Stakeholders and construction professionals. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as Hub representative managing the project throughout the project lifecycle including design, construction & defects phase Organise, chair and record project meetings with Participants & Contractors as required. Provide regular reports to Hub and Participants as required. Develop a risk register, chair regular risk reviews, monitor and update the risk register as required Monitor information flow between Participant and Contractor to ensure programme deadlines are met. Drive the agreement and development of the Authorities Construction Requirements Monitor Contractors compliance with the ACR’s and Contractors Proposals Ensure the Contractor meets his Statutory obligations in terms of Planning, Building Warrant and any other special consents Liaise regularly with the hubco Commercial Team Take responsibility for the co-ordination of the technical information required for the DBDA Agreement Liaise with the hub Legal Manager in advance of and throughout financial close. Provide support where necessary Operate approved project processes and procedures, taking specific cognisance of the requirements of the Project Agreement. Ensure the project is operated wholly in accordance with good HS&E practice generally, and specifically in accordance with the Construction Design & Management. Manage the requirements of the Review Procedure Manage the Completion and Handover of Projects in accordance with the requirements of the Project Agreement.
