Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Building Surveyor to join a leading construction and property consultancy firm. Responsibilities
* Conducting building surveys and inspections to assess conditions, defects, and compliance with regulations.
* Assisting in the preparation of reports, specifications, and schedules of work.
* Assisting in the management of construction projects, including monitoring progress and quality.
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure effective project coordination.
* Conducting research and analysis on building materials, regulations, and industry standards.
* Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budget management.
* Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry trends.
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Building Surveyor or similar role.
* Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction processes.
* Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
