A Day in the Life As Assistant F&B Manager, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the F&B Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and dining areas. Supervising and motivating front-of-house teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Assisting with rota management, staff briefings, and performance coaching. Maintaining exceptional standards in food presentation, service delivery, and guest satisfaction. Liaising with other departments such as kitchen to ensure smooth communication and service flow. Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues promptly and professionally. Assisting with stock control, ordering, waste management, and revenue tracking. Supporting compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. What We're Looking For Previous experience in F&B, restaurant, or hospitality management (preferred). Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A genuine passion for food, beverage, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, mornings, and weekends. High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Knowledge of licensing laws, health & safety standards, and food hygiene best practices. Experience with EPOS systems and reservation platforms is advantageous.
