Sureserve Compliance Fire, part of the Sureserve Group, are a specialist in the supply, installation and maintenance of fire safety and security systems. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business & Revenue Support Officer Horsham office. This role primarily focuses on billing, while also handling client inquiries and submitting administrative information to client portals. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of month-end numbers, reporting revenue, WIP, and performing gross margin analysis. The position provides support to both finance and operational functions within the business. Key Responsibilities: Completion of application process as part of client billing cycle. Creation and completion of sales invoicing to customers. Ensure accurate sales ordering and job processing, following contract-specific procedures. Monitor and tracking unbilled revenues, ensuring all job costs are accounted for. Supporting with month end billing and revenue close, including analysis of revenue, WIP and gross margin. Understand and contribute to the team’s key business objectives and success metrics. Collaborate with operational teams and SLT to support administration and business decisions. Assist with month-end reports, revenue & WIP analysis, ad-hoc reports and provide summaries for management. Provide ad-hoc contract information and attend relevant meetings, such as mobilisation meetings. Supporting the broader finance function with other ad-hoc tasks, as required. Requirements: Able to work efficiently and accurately and under own initiative Strong attention to detail and dealing with complex data Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Strong competency using Microsoft Excel Experience in a billing / revenue, finance and/or administration background is preferable, with understanding of WIP and accruals being beneficial Excellent communication skills Ability to communicate financial and commercial information to a non-finance audience Microsoft Business Central experience would be an advantage but not essential A ‘can do’ approach is essential Benefits: 25 days holiday (plus the bank holidays) Extra day off for your birthday Pension contributions Hybrid working Employee Assistance Program Free 24/7 Virtual GP service Bike 2 Work scheme Discount benefits hub Health cash back scheme Career progression opportunities Ongoing Mentoring and career / performance coaching Commitment to training and development
