Job description We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Bid Executive to step into a new role providing bid support to Crowe’s varied service lines. The Bid Executive will need to work out of one of Crowe’s offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Reading, Oldbury, Cheltenham or Maidstone three times a week (with the other two days worked from home). The Bid Executive will work closely with the Head of Bids and Clients & Markets team to support senior stakeholders with their tender proposals and presentations. The role encompasses both end-to-end and ad hoc support at every stage of the bid process, from attending briefing meetings to creating documents and getting feedback. The successful applicant will have good project management and time management skills, and be comfortable working under pressure. Tenders typically come with fixed deadlines, and (very infrequently) this might mean helping the team out of hours to finalise a bid. Being able to communicate at all levels with confidence and forge strong working relationships is essential. Key responsibilities Coordinate the tender process, from initial opportunity through to proposal creation, presentation preparation, submission and feedback Create engaging and persuasive proposal documents and presentations Support bidding teams with their preparation for interviews and meetings Contribute to, and help to maintain, an up-to-date bid content library Support the Head of Bids with strategic bid initiatives Support the Head of Bids and Clients & Markets team with peer review and idea generation Key relationship management and coordination Develop and maintain relationships with, and drive bid best practice with, the Clients & Markets team and fee earners Share ideas and feedback with the Head of Bids and Clients & Markets team to develop best practice Advantageous skills and experience Bid experience and knowledge of the accountancy profession Experience with the full Microsoft suite, in particular PowerPoint Ability to forge strong working relationships with a range of key stakeholders An active team player and self-starter Flexibility and adaptability to change Good project management and time management skills Why choose Crowe?
