1. Leading delivery of our NIHR portfolio research portfolio.
2. Advise on the delivery of research within UHD.
3. To lead, develop, and continuously improve research services within the Research & Development department, providing leadership and expertise to strategically influence and assure the provision of high quality, safe, and effective research delivery to nursing staff, patients and the public.

5. Relevant experience in managing a team in clinical research in NHS settings

7. Understanding of NIHR, MHRA, HRA and other research systems
