The Role
At Sofina Foods, we're looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Logistics Manager to join us. This is a chance to take ownership of finished goods and material movements across two manufacturing sites and into third-party storage and retailer distribution, making a real impact on how we deliver for our customers. You'll play a key part in driving efficiency, shaping processes, and helping us continue to grow.
Please note this role is based onsite in Malton, 5 days a week.
Your Key Responsibilities
You'll lead our logistics operations with a focus on improvement, efficiency, and customer service.
Key Areas Include
* Managing contracts and relationships with freight carriers, 3rd parties and retailers.
* Developing and refining SOPs while ensuring KPIs and compliance are met.
* Driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing approaches within logistics.
* Leading contingency planning, reporting, and budget control.
* Overseeing stock movements, distribution, and claims processes across internal and external networks.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who brings energy, resilience, and a continuous improvement mindset. You will have proven experience in a similar role, within a fast paced FMCG business.
