We’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Workshop Manager for our Banbury/Witney depot, supporting a fleet of over 60 vehicles.As Workshop Manager, you’ll play a central role in ensuring our fleet is clean, safe, and road-ready, while supporting the ongoing development of the workshop as our fleet evolves, including the introduction of electric vehicles and associated depot infrastructure.**What you’ll be doing**Leading and motivating your team to deliver safe, reliable and well-presented vehiclesScheduling and prioritising vehicle maintenance and servicing activitiesSupporting team development, identifying training needs and fostering continuous improvementQuality checking vehicles after maintenance to ensure high standards are metUpholding health, safety and environmental standards in line with legislation and Stagecoach policy**What we’re looking for**Relevant engineering experience, including mechanical, electrical and bodywork knowledgeQualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant engineering field (mechanical or automotive)Experience managing or supervising a workshop or technical team, and a strong understanding of PCV operationsStrong understanding of health and safety practices and regulatory standardsA people-centred approach to leadership, with strong communication and influencing skillsAbility to plan, analyse, and make confident decisions in a dynamic environmentFull training provided, including health & safety, equipment use and cleaning standardsCompetitive hourly rates and opportunities for overtimeBenefits including generous pension scheme, 22 days holiday, free travel for you and a companion, and a wide range of discounts including retail & leisureCareer progression, many of our colleagues have grown into engineering, driving, and management rolesA supportive, inclusive working environment where your wellbeing matters**Our working environment**Stagecoach is proud to be an inclusive employer.
