The Opportunity This is an exciting time to join a well-established procurement and commercial team made up of over 30 lawyers across multiple UK offices. The team advises on complex, high-value procurement projects and works closely with central government departments, regulatory bodies, and a range of public sector organisations. This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute to nationally significant matters under the Procurement Act 2023. It also includes supporting litigation colleagues on procurement disputes and playing a role in client training and development. Key Responsibilities Advising public sector clients on all aspects of the procurement lifecycle Drafting procurement documentation including ITTs, specifications, and notices Delivering complex strategic advice on procurement processes and compliance Supporting procurement-related challenges and litigation Playing an active role in business development, client training, and internal knowledge sharing What They're Looking For A qualified solicitor (likely 2-4 PQE, although all levels with relevant experience will be considered) Demonstrable recent experience advising on the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and familiarity with the Procurement Act 2023 A solid understanding of commercial contracts in a procurement context Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills A proactive, collaborative approach and enthusiasm for client engagement Why Join?
