Responsibilities
* Providing legal support for the equities, fixed income and commodities businesses in EMEA, US and LatAm in structuring and documenting securitised derivatives transactions
* Drafting legal documentation for structured notes, certificates and warrants linked to equities, fixed income, credit and commodities; reviewing term sheets pre-trade
* Advising and assisting the securitised products business day-to-day and managing the execution process for all legal and listing documentation required for trades
* Reviewing internal policies and procedures in light of regulation affecting structured products and advising on distribution, confidentiality, and related arrangements
* Advising and assisting the structured notes business on a day-to-day basis
What We Are Looking For
* Excellent understanding of rules and requirements for both institutional and retail offerings across the EU, EMEA and LatAm regions, and knowledge of relevant market practice
* Experience in managing the execution process for all legal and listing documentation required for issuances
* Experience drafting and negotiating legal documentation for products issued under structured issuance programmes linked to complex underlyings including equities, fixed income, commodities, and credit
* Broad knowledge of financial law and regulation as it affects securitised products (e.g., MiFID II, Prospectus Regulation, PRIIPs) and understanding of U.S. securities laws and exemptions in this area
* Ability to manage a high volume of transactions within tight deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
