Job Title: IT Cluster Lead
Location: School-based within a region, with regular travel
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time, All Year Round
FTE Salary Range: £33,699 - £36,363
Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading IT service delivery across a cluster of schools
* Line managing and developing IT technicians
* Acting as the primary IT contact for academy leadership
* Providing second line technical support and escalation
* Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, security and GDPR
* Supporting projects such as upgrades, rollouts and migrations
* Promoting best practice, consistency and customer service
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a candidate who:
* Has strong experience in IT support and service delivery
* Is confident leading and supporting technical staff
* Has excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Is organised, proactive and solution focused
* Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel
* Is motivated to work within education and support school communities
* Experience within education or similar service driven environments is desirable.
About the Trust
Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education. We operate 20 academies in Cornwall, Devon, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We are building this Trust on a clear set of values, behaviours and curriculum principles.
