Role: Locum Pharmacy Medicines Management Technician (MMT) Banding: Band 6 Location: Milton Keynes Start Date: 2nd of September 2024 Duration: Full-time, Until the 1st of December 2024 Rate: £23 - £29 per hour About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Medicines Management Technician (MMT) to join our team in Milton Keynes. This is a temporary position starting immediately and ending on December 1, 2024. Duties and Responsibilities: You will provide expert medicines management services within the pharmacy department. You will ensure the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines. You will support clinical staff with medication-related queries and issues. You will conduct medication reviews and provide patient counselling. You will maintain accurate records and documentation. Qualifications and Experience: Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting. Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACTPT) certification. MMT qualification is essential. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
