An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Asset Management Surveyor to join the Estates Management team based within our partner offices taking responsibility for assisting in the delivery of current Estate & Asset Management services.
Main Responsibilities
This is an exciting new opportunity with the day-to-day work varied, but the main responsibilities will include:
* Taking responsibility for identification, reviewing and providing strategic advice on property management and regeneration issues, formulating strategic plans for the effective use of land and property assets.
* Lead and facilitate the development of active relationships with a wide range of customers, members, officers, stakeholders and partners.
* Undertake effective property reviews and provide proactive and responsive strategic advice on all property management issues.
* Ensure that time and quality targets set for reporting property reviews or strategic property management issues are met.
* Assist with the day to day/or when required, other general practice surveyor work in accordance with professional guidance and standards as appropriate.
* Prepare reports and briefings for clients, attending committees and working groups as necessary.
* Providing effective, day to day, professional property advice to the client and maintain output quality.
* Working within the various agreed timescales, managing projects in accordance with initiatives and directives, endeavouring to maximise income and achieve set productivity targets.
* Complying with the Norse Group ISO standards, delivering quality assured outputs.
* Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the grade of the post including travel to other offices as required.
Our Successful Candidate
It is expected that you will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
* Bachelors degree or equivalent in an Estates related discipline
* Significant relevant experience with at least 5 - 10 years post qualification
* Ideally experience of having worked within a Local Authority
* Full UK Driving Licence
