We are currently looking for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Reading with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity for someone with classroom experience who is looking to gain further school-based experience or step into a flexible role within education. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the work set. The role will involve: Supervising whole classes across a range of subjects Delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining classroom order Managing behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning environment Supporting students with their learning where needed Reporting back to teaching staff on progress and behaviour Building positive relationships with students and staff The ideal candidate will have: Experience working with children or young people Confidence managing a classroom environment Strong communication and behaviour management skills A flexible and proactive attitude A passion for education and supporting student progress At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
