Remuneration: £52,000 + guaranteed bonus £3,000

Role Overview
The role of the Area Sales Manager Bathroom Retail Showrooms involves:
* Field sales position promoting a premium range of bathroom furniture, sanitary ceramics, shower trays, bath tubs, shower-toilets and accessories.
* Account management with a focus on relationship building (not hard selling).
* Selling to Owner and MD of small independent bathroom retail showrooms.
* Responsible for circa 50 independent showrooms, 2 buying group members and 18 members of larger groups such as UKPS (e.g. Willbonds Nottingham).
* Stretching individual accounts by taking business from the competition and introducing new product lines.
* Approx. three customer visits per day, with follow‑ups every 6 to 8 weeks depending on account size.
* Assisting with merchandising, training, developing and nurturing bathroom retailers.
* Working for a leading brand where customers hold the door open.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Bathroom Retail Showrooms with:
* Proven track record in account management and field sales, ideally within the bathroom industry but open to KBB.
* Capability to manage a multi‑million pound business as if it were your own.
* Experience selling into retail showrooms, bathroom showrooms within merchants.
* Experience with associated products such as underfloor heating, mirrors, tiles, showers, baths, toilets, basins, mixers, saunas, bathroom furniture, etc.
* Adaptability to sell into retailer bathroom owners / MDs.
* Eye for design, appreciation for the value of a brand.
* Resilient personality with genuine sales ability.
* Professional, prepared, with strong organisational and territory management skills.
