About you: Degree in Building Surveying or a related field Previous experience in social housing (desirable but not essential) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Proficiency with CAD and other relevant software Knowledge of building regulations, planning laws, and health & safety standards What you'll do: Lead inspections and surveys for planned maintenance projects Coordinate and monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met Prepare detailed reports on property conditions, defects, and maintenance recommendations Liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project stages Manage site teams and review work quality to ensure compliance and excellence Collaborate with internal QS teams and external consultants on valuations and cost management Provide technical guidance on building regulations, safety standards, and regulations compliance Assist with project handovers and contribute to maintaining high SHEQ standards For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
