Job Description:
I am working on an exciting new role with a client based in Darlington. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join them on a part time basis. The role will be 22 hours per week, spread across either 3 to 5 days.
Responsibilities will include:
Prepare and produce monthly management accounts
Support the bank reconciliation process with banking journals
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Completion of all month end journals and schedules including prepayments, accruals, deferred income, accrued income and depreciation charges
Produce short-term, medium-term and long-term forecasts and budgets
Support the CFOO and Head of Finance with the consolidation of accounts
Liaise with auditors and support with audit requirements including preparation of year end schedules
Analysis of Key Performance Indicators and benchmarking data
Support to the Office Managers with any financial queries they may have and advise in line with finance policies and procedures
To comply with Health and Safety policies, organisations statements and procedures
Any other duties of a similar nature related to the post which may be required from time to time.
Any experience working in the education sector would be beneficial, but not essential.
