Tods Technology are looking to recruit for a Senior HSE Advisor, to commence work at our Portland, Dorset Manufacturing Headquarters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day delivery of Health & Safety and Environment compliance throughout the business, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, customer, and certification requirements. The role supports ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.
Responsibilities:Health and Safety ISO 45001
* Implement and maintain the Health & Safety Management System
* Advise on risk control and legal compliance
* Develop and review Risk Assessments, COSHH and safe systems of work.
* Lead incidents and near-miss investigations
* Conduct inspections and audits
* Manage Contractor H & S compliance
* Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks.
Environmental ISO 14001
* Maintain Environmental Management System
* Manage aspects and impacts and legal register
* Monitor waste, emissions and environmental performance
* Ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
Compliance and Systems
* Ensure compliance with H & S and Environmental legislation
* Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audits
* Maintain HSE documentation and records
* Drive corrective action closure.
Operational Support
* Provide shopfloor H & S presence
* Support all other departments
* Support new equipment (PUWER) and process changes
* Support expansion projects and facility changes.
Qualifications Needed:
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* Internal auditor qualification
* ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 experience
Desirable:
* NEBOSH Diploma
* IEMA Qualification
* Aerospace or regulated industry experience
