This is a site-based, hands-on role, supporting the engineering execution of:
* A brand-new manufacturing facility at the FEED stage.
* A scale-up and upgrade programme, building a facility 1.5x larger to expand production capacity.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring technical excellence, quality, and safety across all electrical engineering activities.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead, supervise, and manage the work of the EPCm contractor to ensure electrical designs meet JM’s specific needs and standards.
* Ensure the electrical design and implementation are aligned with project requirements and functional objectives.
* Review electrical designs, specifications, and documentation provided by contractors, ensuring they are technically sound and meet operational requirements.
* Take responsibility for time, budget, progress, and quality within the electrical discipline throughout the project lifecycle.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary project team, collaborating with other engineering disciplines, the project engineering manager, and the project manager to align on project goals and delivery.
* Apply proficiency in CDM Regulation within the project to ensure health and safety compliance during design and implementation.
Experience Required:
* Relevant engineering degree, ideally with chartership.
* Extensive technical experience within multidisciplinary engineering teams, ideally in EPCm project environments.
* Experience in the fine chemicals sector is a significant advantage.
* Proven ability to deliver complex engineering projects within pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, or high-integrity manufacturing environments.
* Enterprising, proactive, and flexible attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
* Team player who takes ownership while supporting colleagues to achieve project goals.
* Excellent communication and decision-making skills to manage contractor interfaces and resolve design challenges.
* Resilience and ability to perform within a dynamic, complex project environment
