About The Role
We are a leading offshore renewables engineering company specialising in high voltage (HV) electrical systems for the transition to a sustainable energy future. With a strong portfolio of offshore wind projects across the UK and Europe, we are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative solutions in challenging marine environments. We’re expanding our team and seeking an HSEQ Coordinator to optimise our workforce and project delivery.
Hybrid working: The role will require a willingness to attend offshore sites, ports & fabrication facilities as needed. Remote work is possible, but applicants must be able to attend our Headquarters in North Shields when required. Due to this, UK-based applicants only.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation and maintenance of the HSEQ Management System in accordance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
* Conduct and coordinate risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and incident investigations.
* Monitor compliance with HSEQ requirements across offshore sites and fabrication yards.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of HSEQ audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
* Maintain accurate records and reports for audits, regulatory compliance, and internal KPIs.
* Support the induction and training of project personnel in HSEQ procedures and standards.
* Liaise with project managers, client HSE representatives, and subcontractors to ensure consistent application of best practices.
Required Criteria
* Proven experience in an HSEQ role within the offshore renewables, HV, or energy sector.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum; IOSH membership desirable.
* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO standards.
* Ability to produce and review RAMS and HSEQ documentation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
* Willingness to travel to offshore sites, ports and fabrication facilities as required.
Desired Criteria
* Experience working on offshore wind or HV cable installation/termination projects.
* Auditor qualifications (ISO 9001/14001/45001 Lead Auditor).
