Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting non-experienced Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The role involves working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals interested in working within a specialist environment. Full training and qualifications, including Team Teach, Child Protection, and Working with Self Harm, will be provided to the right candidates.

You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviours, and needs. The role requires confidence, patience, and skills to work effectively with these young people and positively impact their lives.
Responsibilities include supporting young people with meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals such as Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, and support young people in environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete an induction program before placements are offered.
