Legal Counsel – Employment
We are exclusively partnering with a high-growth, international organisation operating at the intersection of business services and technology to appoint an Employment Legal Counsel. This is a standout opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking legal team supporting UK and European operations within a dynamic, fast-scaling environment.
This role sits within a key commercial function, working closely with senior stakeholders and the People team, and offers genuine breadth, visibility, and influence.
The Opportunity
Part of the In-House legal team, taking a hands-on role across a wide spectrum of employment law matters.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading on employment disputes and settlement agreements, driving commercially sound outcomes
* Acting as a trusted advisor to the People team on the full employee lifecycle (hiring, termination, mobility, immigration, investigations)
* Advising senior stakeholders on legal risks across employment-related decisions and processes
* Reviewing and updating policies in line with legislative developments across the UK and Europe
* Partnering with international teams to ensure a consistent, global approach to employment matters
* Supporting the development of legal templates, playbooks, and internal resources
* Managing external counsel where required
* Delivering practical training and guidance to internal teams
* Providing broader commercial legal support as capacity allows
About You
We’re keen to speak with UK qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives or equivalent qualifications who have a minimum of 3 years experience and an strong employment law background (ideally both non-contentious and contentions).
You will bring:
* Proven experience advising on employment law within an In-House or Private Practice environment
* A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with confidence in risk-based decision making
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Experience working cross-functionally within fast-paced, evolving environments
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
* A proactive, driven attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Competitive base salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum (depending on experience)
