Administrator Opportunity - Northampton Swan Valley (NN4)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Administrator to join our client's busy and well-established operation in Northampton Swan Valley (NN4).

Our client is a leading name in the distribution industry, supplying a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits to the public sector-offering a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with excellent long-term prospects.


Working Pattern

Monday to Friday


Pay & Contract

* £14.01 per hour (PAYE)
* Temp ongoing contract


The Role

As an Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the distribution function.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Coordinating and scheduling all inbound deliveries to the National Distribution Centre (NDC)
* Accurately booking in deliveries and conducting physical checks when required
* Managing returned packaging from breweries and ensuring timely processing
* Allocating outbound loads and preparing all required documentation in advance
* Monitoring pre-picks, pre-allocations, and ensuring product readiness
* Overseeing packaging allocation and meeting loading deadlines
* Updating internal systems (including LAB screens) as required
* Tracking turnaround times from breweries and maintaining operational flow
* Resolving any on-shift issues efficiently and professionally
* Conducting stock and product checks where necessary
* Ensuring pallet network orders are processed accurately and on time


What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have:

* Previous experience within FMCG or distribution environments
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems
* Strong IT and computer skills
* Experience working in a computerised warehouse setting
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* A methodical and detail-oriented approach
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* A strong customer-focused mindset
