Payroll ManagerPermanentSalary: £35,000 - £40,000pa plus a discretionary 20% bonus (target based)Location: MiddletonA fast-growing organisation are seeking a permanent Payroll Manager to join their team, paying a salary od £35,000pa - £40,000pa. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing for the business, you will be managing a small team, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and efficiency at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end to end payroll for approximately 1500 employeesManual calculations relating to bonuses, overtime, tax, NI and other compensationsPrepare and submit payroll tax returns (p60’s and p11ds), ensuring these are submitted in a timely and accurate mannerDealing with payroll related queriesRecruit, mentor and train payroll staffDistribute workload accordingly throughout the time, ensuring the team have the required tools and support to carry out their roles to the best of their abilityAdministration and maintenance of records relating to benefits schemes within the businessProducing the annual gender pay gap reportProviding support to the HR teamAny other duties as required relating to the payroll functionThe ideal candidate will have the following skills & experienceExtensive payroll experienceIdeally CIPP qualified or working towardsExperience working on payroll softwareA deep understanding of payroll legislationStrong mathematical skillsOrganised and excellent attention to detailExcellent excel knowledge, including pivot tables and V lookupsThe ability to lead, manage and motivate a teamIn return, you will receive a competitive salary, with the opportunity to earn a 20% bonus on top.
