Senior Design Engineer
Role Overview
My client are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to support technical delivery activities across infrastructure projects within structural disciplines. This role will support engineering design, technical coordination and multidisciplinary delivery activities within contractor-led environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Support design development and technical delivery activities within the relevant discipline.
- Undertake engineering calculations and technical assessments.
- Prepare and review technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external designers.
- Participate in technical reviews and design coordination meetings.
- Support buildability and engineering risk review activities.
- Ensure compliance with CDM and engineering assurance requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree qualified engineer in relevant discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience.
- Experience undertaking engineering calculations.
- UK infrastructure experience preferred.
- Working towards chartership.
- Experience within contractor-led or design and build environments beneficial.
